Let the media put their money where their mouth is

Now I know what it must have been like for people outside of NY during 9/11.  I am not the type of person to sit by and do nothing. I need to channel my emotions into action.  With Katrina all I can do is sit here--very frustrating.   Since I posted last night, I am becoming really obsessed with getting the media to turn over tsome airtime so people can  get their messages out. Lack of communication and not being heard is a terrible extra burden on top of being tired, hungry and dehydrated.  How about instead of three hours of concerts with famous people we have at least ONE hour of constant stream of individuals giving a message.  With spotty-cell coverage at best the media with their satellite trucks are still the best source for communication.

So, if anyone has any friends in the media ---pass it along.
