Because it's a Blog; or rather, a reverse blog as 'blog posts' are sent to me as HTML email and then posted to the Daily Candy website. It has almost all the elements that make a great blog, great; discreet, helpful tidbits, daily posts archived and searchable by category and written in a straightforward, quirky open style all wrapped up with a beautiful elegant highly identifiable design.
Interestingly, none of the readers care whether this is called a blog or a website-it's just good info delivered in an entertaining, timely, and helpful manner. It always delivers on it's promise. Who cares whether it is called a blog or a newsletter or a website. It works. I just wish it had the one major element that is missing for me -- comments and trackback. I would love to hear from other readers about their new finds and how they have enjoyed what has been suggested on the site.
So, if the team at Daily Candy is listening --c'mon take the final step and make your site a true blog so we could get a great community going - complete with comments and trackbacks and therefore suggestions from your adoring fans.
One more step - you're almost there. I promise, it's fun--really!
I'm asking myself: How can it be that I've never ran through your site before? It's a great one! substances that cure you: http://www.winneronline.com , my parents didnt told me about it
